So you have a nice 7 inch screen, you can watch tv, maybe hook up your ipod, surely we can watch video right? Wrong, theres no OEM way of watching video. We have to resort to using aftermarket equipment

 

The method you use will depend on whether or not you already have the OEM TV installed (Analogue or Digital), with the TV installed you have access to add 2 AUX ins which means you can add 2 video sources.

 

Easy right, Well yes but you still need to control it and the AUX sockets are in the luggage compartment area on the left hand compartment, you will have to choose something which can be remotely controlled.

 

Fortunately there are now many devices around, so you now have a choice of

 

Digital TV (if you only have analogue)

Media players

DVD Players

 

If you do not have the OEM TV installed you cant go this route without adding/upgrading modules and possibley adding wiring looms etc. but there are easier options. The US market came without any TV, as there is no OEM TV available for the frequencies they use.

 

Select the type of installation you want from the left Menu, those who have the OEM TV can use either method.
