Installing rear tail lights

Removing outer tail lights

–	Switch off ignition and take out ignition key.

–	Ensure the Turn light switch to position “0”.

–	Unclip plugs shown by the arrows in the drawing below from the luggage compartment lining.

–	Unscrew the two nuts. be careful not to let them drop inside the chassis

–	Slide rear light outwards and disengage from the retaining pin at the body.

–	Unplug electrical connector at rear light.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order

Body Alignment

you may also need to align the light with the body, alignment is carried out by turning nut - 1 - above and another nut that can be seen while the light is removed. ie behind the light.

Removing Inner tail lights

–	Ensure ignition is switched of and take out ignition key.

–	Turn light switch to position “0”.

You need to remove the boot lid trim, to do this
Detach the lock cover.
Remove luggage compartment light
Remove button to close rear lid in luggage compartment
Remove box for tool kit and hazard warning triangle
Remove bolts from handle recesses (2x per side).

Note: For US vehicles you also need to remove the manual release handle

Unfasten rear lid trim - there are 12 clips
you now have acces to the inner tail light
Unscrew nuts and detach rear light.

Unplug the electrical connector

reinstall in reverse
