This coding value applies to all vehicles with Multitronic which do not have control unit part number 01J927156CR.

However, in model year 2001 there are some vehicles which were shipped with coding value 00002. These vehicles are identifiable by the control unit part number 01J927156CR. The actual identifying feature, however, is the index CR

In model year 2001 there are some vehicles with control unit part number 01J927156CR which need to be coded with this value.

Vehicles coded with this value must be recoded with the value 00002 in the event of a control unit replacement.

In selector lever position D the steering wheel Tiptronic buttons or shift paddles can be used to switch briefly to manual shift mode (Tiptronic mode), i.e. press the '+' button to shift up and '-' to shift down
