            04                                 Adaption of a radio remote control to the auxiliary heater

                                                By way of this adaption channel up to 4 radio

                                                remote controls can be adapted to the auxiliary heater.

                                                - Adaption "1" (input value "00001")

                                                The delivery rate of the recirculation pump-V55 is

                                                regulated in auxiliary heating mode. The control unit -J364 adjusts

                                                the delivery rate of the recirculation pump-V55 depending on

                                                the coolant temperature in the auxiliary heater (the -V55

                                                is pulsed).

                                                The control unit -J364 does not switch the recirculation pump -V55

                                                on if a request is received over the data bus

                                                system.

                                                - Adaption "2" (input value "00002")

                                                In auxiliary heating mode the recirculation pump -V55 is

                                                switched on at maximum delivery.

                                                The control unit -J364 switches the recirculation pump -V55

                                                on if a request is received over the data bus

                                                (to assist the coolant pump of the

                                                engine and the pump in the pump valve unit,

                                                thereby improving the coolant throughput through the heat exchangers

                                                Setting for manufacturer "0"

                                                The metering pump -V54 is activated for the preset time (given

                                                in sec.) in the "basic setting, display group 077" function

                                                by the control unit -J364 at a preset frequency

                                                (e.g. in production to charge the fuel line).

                                                 

                                                To check the delivery rate of the metering pump -V54 the

                                                control unit -J364 is preset via the Adaption function to "250".

                                                 

                                                After in the "basic setting" function the display group

                                                "077" has been selected (e.g. to check the delivery rate of the

                                                metering pump -V54), the readout may change from e.g. "250"

                                                back to "0".

                                                In the case of a replacement control unit -J364 a

                                                value greater than "0" may be displayed. Change the adaption
